At Irudek, we promote the responsible management of end-of-life products, in line with current legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment, Royal Decree 110/2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment, and Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 on batteries, as well as the applicable technical standards for each product type.
Our protective equipment is manufactured using different materials (metals, textiles, plastics, and in some cases electrical or electronic components), so its disposal must be carried out properly, taking into account the product type and applicable regulations.
General waste management
• Textile and plastic products should be managed as non-hazardous industrial waste, in accordance with local regulations.
• Metal components can be recycled through authorized waste management operators.
• Products containing electrical, electronic components or batteries must not be disposed of with household waste and must be taken to an authorized collection point or waste manager.
• Some products may be subject to specific regulations, so we recommend consulting the technical documentation or contacting our team for proper disposal guidance.
User guidelines
• Do not dispose of equipment with household waste.
• Remove end-of-life products and avoid reuse.
• Check local recycling and waste management regulations.
• Use authorized waste management operators whenever required.
